Mediation and Arbitration Explained

Business Mediation is a voluntary, non-binding process in which an independent mediator facilitates negotiations between parties to assist them in reaching a mutually acceptable resolution. The mediator does not impose a decision but supports structured dialogue, issue clarification, and option development.

Business Arbitration is a binding process in which an independent arbitrator hears the parties’ evidence and submissions and renders a decision in accordance with applicable law and the arbitration agreement. Arbitration provides a private and efficient alternative to court proceedings while offering procedural structure and finality.

Both processes are designed to support fairness, neutrality, and commercially practical outcomes.
